Terms of Service

Welcome to Remian Diagnostics Limited. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, user account services, webinars, conferences, educational content, articles, projects, professional notices, communication tools, and related professional development services.

By creating an account, registering for an event, submitting content, or using any Remian Diagnostics service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. User Accounts

To access certain services, including webinar registration, conference booking, article submission, certificates, CPD records, and participant dashboard features, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information, including your full name, contact details, professional registration number, profession, job details, and any other information required for CPD or administrative purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use our services. Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared, transferred, or used on behalf of another person without authorization.

2. Our Services

Remian Diagnostics provides professional development services for healthcare and medical laboratory professionals, including CPD-accredited webinars, conferences, educational articles, professional notices, research and project visibility, certificates, registration management, attendance tracking, and related communication services.

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of our services where necessary for operational, legal, technical, or professional reasons.

3. Webinar and Conference Registration

All webinars and conferences require formal registration or booking through the website or an approved Remian Diagnostics process.

For paid events, registration is confirmed only after successful payment through the available payment method, including M-Pesa where applicable. Prices are displayed in Kenya Shillings unless otherwise stated. For free events, confirmation may be issued after successful submission of the registration form.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that the information submitted during registration is accurate, especially names, email addresses, phone numbers, and professional registration numbers used for certificates and CPD allocation.

4. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Payments must be completed using the approved payment channels shown on the website. Remian Diagnostics is not responsible for payment delays or failures caused by incorrect details, network issues, third-party payment provider downtime, or user error.

For paid webinars or conferences, cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to be considered for a refund or credit. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event may not be eligible for a refund.

If Remian Diagnostics cancels or reschedules a paid event, registered participants may be offered a refund, credit, or transfer to a future event. Refund processing timelines may depend on the payment provider and internal verification procedures.

5. Attendance, Certificates and CPD Points

Remian Diagnostics may monitor attendance, participation duration, registration records, payment status, and other relevant details for certificate issuance and CPD verification.

Certificates and CPD points may only be issued to eligible participants who meet the stated attendance, registration, payment, and participation requirements. Participants are responsible for confirming whether their professional board, employer, or accrediting body recognizes the CPD points associated with a specific event.

Remian Diagnostics may share necessary attendance and participant information with relevant CPD accrediting or regulatory bodies for verification and reporting.

6. Professional Conduct

Users must engage respectfully and professionally when using Remian Diagnostics services, including webinars, conferences, comment areas, article submissions, discussions, emails, and any communication channels.

Users must not harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, abuse, discriminate against, exploit, disrupt, or mislead other users, staff, speakers, partners, or participants. Users must not upload or share unlawful, offensive, defamatory, misleading, plagiarized, or harmful content.

Remian Diagnostics reserves the right to suspend, block, restrict, or terminate accounts, registrations, article submissions, or access to services where a user violates these Terms or acts in a manner that may harm the organization, other users, partners, or the integrity of professional development activities.

7. User-Submitted Content

Users may be allowed to submit articles, blog posts, comments, project information, or other content for review. Submitted content must be original, accurate, professional, lawful, and not infringe the rights of any third party.

User-submitted articles may be reviewed, edited, approved, rejected, unpublished, or removed by authorized staff before or after publication. Editing or resubmitting a published article may return it to draft or pending review status until approved again.

By submitting content, you grant Remian Diagnostics a non-exclusive right to review, publish, display, promote, and distribute the content through its website and communication channels, while you retain ownership of your original work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
